Sa Bom Nim Arbuckle
Master Steve Arbuckle, a retired Navy Chief with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and Connecticut certification as an Emergency Medical Technician, began his Martial Arts training in June of 1978 at the Chuck Norris Karate Studio (Tang Soo Do) Virginia Beach, VA. He achieved black belt in May, 1981. He continued Martial Arts training while in the Navy, also receiving training in Shorin Ji Kempo & various other styles of Martial Arts. He began training with the West Haven Academy of Karate in 1987 and earned the rank of Master in 1998. He has participated regularly in clinics, camps, local, regional and national competitions since 1987. His participation in National Tournaments since 1987 has earned him several 2nd and 3rd place honors, including 1990 and 1992 1st Place Forms Champion—Senior Division at the US Tang Soo Do National Championships. Master Arbuckle is now an 8th Dan and is on the Tang Soo Do Mi Guk Kwan Board of Governors
